how credible are kaplan test scores?

by arihant vijay » Wed Mar 19, 2014 2:12 am
I've been preparing for the GMAT for the past 4 months.. Took the gmat prep test 1 in the beginning.. Got 650 .. Then started my preparation.. My subsequent scores are as follows:
Gmat prep 1: 710
Kaplan CAT 1 : 710
Gmat prep 2 : 680 (should have given this in the end)
Kaplan CAT 2 : 720
Grockit CAT : 710

I have 3 kaplan tests remaining, along with 1 each of manhattan, veritas and princeton..
I want to schedule my gmat within the next 15 days.. But i'm not so sure about the reliability of kaplan scores.. I feel they are a bit exaggerated.
Kindly provide valuable suggestions..
Regards
Arihant Vijay

Hi arihant vijay,

As long as you've been taking the ENTIRE CAT each time, then you have a set of scores that is great and at a level that would make just about every Business School happy.

Assuming these CATs were taken in a realistic fashion, then you're ready to go. Why are you thinking about waiting 15 days?
