Here are some resources you could look at.
Novels:
1. Ayn Rand's The Fountainhead and Atlas Shrugged
2. Of Mice and Men -- John Steinbeck
3. To Kill a Mockingbird -- Harper Lee

Weeklies:
1. The Economist
2. Businessweek

Additionally, you can go to Google Scholar and read articles and journals on a variety of topics such as marketing, literature, science, politics, sociology etc.
