This SC presents a comparison between the Sun and the Moon. This will require proper modification and parallelism rules.

1) Modification: the phrase "which is 400 times larger than the Moon" modifies "The Sun", so these phrases have to be next to one another. Eliminate C, D and E.

2) Parallelism: the second phrase "400 times farther away from Earth" must be parallel to the first phrase "400 times larger than the Moon" and include any additional words in parallel. Eliminate A.

Also in D, I believe the "causal effect" is not coming out properly.

Both the Sun and the Moon have the same apparent size in the sky "because" the Sun, which is 400 times larger than the Moon, is also 400 times farther away from Earth.

This meaning is not coming out in D.
