A quick scan of the answer choices choices shows that all 5 use the word "AND" which means that we'll need to focus on 2-part parallelism to answer this SC.

The concept behind parallelism is that both sentence fragments will need to have the same "format": the same order and type of words.

The correct answer C is the only answer that presents proper parallel format: "that" + verb/description.
