Hi Stacy

I seek your advice.
I am applying to Stern for fall 2014. Undergraduate GPA is 3.4, Strong resume (3 years managerial level roles, entrepreneurial stuff and a lot of revenue brought into the firms I have worked for) and references. I am getting ready to apply for the round 2 Jan15th deadline. However, I just took the GMAT for the first time, and scored lower than I would like- 640. I know this is pretty far out of NYU's range. I am taking the test again in early Feb and am confident that I can score in the high 600's to low 700s with a month more of practice

My question- do I apply now in round 2 with low GMAT score? Or do I wait for round 3 with a higher GMAT score?

Thanks!

Hi,

Thanks for your post. We recommend you apply when you feel your application is strongest. The only exception is we do not recommend you apply in the final round (which for NYU Stern would be Round 4).
