GMAT 410, is there any chance?

by cirrus » Fri Sep 30, 2011 4:15 am
Hi guys,

I have just write my GMAT but did not achieve my goal. is there any MBA/MsC program that admit this result? I am not a native speaker, also in my country there is no GMAT-preparation courses as well as no books for sale. But that was not a reason to take low score if there are lots of internet sources. And my iBT score was quiet good. My verbal section scaled score of GMAT is 12 :) and Q is 36. currently my iBT score is going to expire therefore i have no time to retake GMAT. because i don't want any exams, no more no :( it is enough. Yet, I still have a goal to pursue my master degree. Is there any chance to me? please suggest me any schools that admit low GMAT in USA and Canada. In addition: i have GPA-3.64 and 5 years of IT female engineer.

Thank you for replying to my post. there are one reason which is that my intended school admission closes Nov15 and I appointed also GRE test on October22. Therefore I have no time to prepare again. Also I can not postpone due to my iBT score will expire if I wait next year admission. so I am going to apply any school that admits lower GMAT. Preparing for GMAT without expert and is hard. Especially while working on my initial and volunteer works. I only teach myself. That is why i don't want any alternate tests.

PS: I think I have met you in Beijing during MBA tour in Penninsula hotel. I am a foreigner that comes from another country.

That was a great list of schools, ThroughMBA!

Cirrus, I completely understand your sentiment. Though I agree with John that you could definitely score higher, the timing of your applications makes it imperative to apply this year. Several of my recent and current clients have low GMAT scores and said enough is enough after taking it several times. One of the most important parts of balancing out a very low test score is having stellar essays.

I specialize in working with nontraditional applicants. I invite you to review my website and see if any of my services would be helpful to you in your applications.
