Hi,
I really need your advice.
I am an international student who is now a senior at a rigorous university (tier 1, top 50, private). I am now applying for master of accounting programs.

On one hand, I have a GMAT of 740, with 5.5 AWA and 7.0 IR. I have strong work experience (government agencies internships overseas) and hundreds of hours of community cervices both overseas and in America. BTW I have outstanding letters of recommendation, two of the recommenders are from government agency officials overseas and the other one is from a superintendent in state department of education in America. I also have a merit scholarship of huge amount annually. I can say that I can handle everything other than academics.

On the other hand, I have a GPA of 2.87 and a even lower major GPA (not accounting major), and I just got into a huge crisis... I have been charged with a minor plagiarism in an entry-level class in this semester. The possible outcome would be an F in this class and the offense will be "noted permanently" in my academic record. It's a harsh lesson.

I am posting to ask what type of MSA programs I should apply for. Please note that I am not seeking for a job in the USA. I need only the "brand" of a famous institution and that's it.

Are there any grad schools that put great emphasis on work experience and GMAT?

Any inputs/suggestions will be appreciated.

Merry Chrismas.
