Education
B.A. in Economics, Overall GPA of 2.7 (Micro & Macro Economics courses did me in, but I rebounded with high grades in the advanced courses)

GMAT
570 (Q38, V31)

Experience
One year at a Commerical Bank-Bank Teller (Received Top Producer Award in Referral Program....Promotoed to Senior Teller)
One year at a Well Known Credit Card Company-Service Rep (became Lead Service Rep in 8 months)
One year and a half at a Known Asset Management Bank-Entry Level Associate

Extracurriular
Volunteered at Media & Entertainment seminars (the field I'm looking into)

My target is a part time MBA program in the NYC area (NYU, Fordham, Pace, Baruch, etc)

Do I cut it? If not, what should I do? Take some courses (ie Fordham has a Pre-MBA program)?

Dear smclean23,

Since you are looking at part-time programs, your work experience is scrutinized along with your career goals. If you are looking to stay on the same or a related career path, then I think you might gain admission to one of the schools you mention. I do think a pre-MBA program could be helpful for you. Not only will it assuage the concerns on your classroom ability, but will prepare you for the challenge of working and going to school. You can also retake your GMAT and try to break 600 as that will also calm any concerns on your academic aptitude.
