Information overload... Help ?

Hi !

I just finished my first practice test and I scored 500... with half of the quant questions wrong (not hard questions either).

My problem ? I haven't done any math harder than an addition in 5 years so I'm out of practice. And I have no idea where to start. There is too much information and too many prep options.

I intend to take the exam in march so I have a little time to prepare BUT since I'm still attending college, I can't spend more than 5/8 hours a week for the GMAT.

What would you suggest for an extensive math review (both basics and harder stuff) ? What materials are a must have ? Any strategy suggestions ?

First, 500 is a great baseline score.

As far as quant prep goes, you need to find a resource that starts with the fundamentals (i.e., doesn't make any assumptions about existing skills/knowledge.) I think you'll find that most of the test-prep companies on this forum (including ours), begin with the fundamentals and slowly progress to advanced topics.
