Recently documented examples of neurogenesis, the production of new brain cells, include the brain growing in mice when placed in a stimulating environment or neurons increasing in canaries that learn new songs.

IMO E, it sounds more compact and properly worded, because the use of 'they' in C, and the phrase "mice's brain" doesn't sit too well with me.

Its between D and E - I pick E. Whats the OA dude? It cant be A, B, C because then the documented examples shall include the mice's brain or the mice itself ( which is not possible )

I am confused over here.. initially i went for C but again neurogenesis's examples can't be mice or brains.. so D or E.

E sounds better for me.. i might be wrong.. D might be wrong because of they.. they learn new songs.. they shd refer to mice.. but here it is placed awkwardly..

someone, please confirm.. thanks!
