Teratomas are unusual forms of cancer because they
are composed of tissues such as tooth and bone not
normally found in the organ in which the tumor
appears.

(C) because they are composed of tissues, like tooth
and bone, tissues
(D) in that their composition, tissues such as tooth

(E) in that they are composed of tissues such tooth

{A} - INCORRECT; Incomplete connecction
{B} - INCORRECT; we are giving examples.. we need such as
{C} - INCORRECT; we are giving examples.. we need such as
{D} - INCORRECT; Wrong Meaning......
{E} - INCORRECT; missing "as" for such as

:( According to me.. all are wrong

I think E should be the correct answer here.

B and C are easy eliminate as we don't use "like" to give example.
A is like 2 different sentences and Its not clear what does this thing refer to....such as tooth and bone not normally found what is not normally found tooth and bone or cancer. There is no connection.

This leaves us with D and E.
E used absolute phrase and has clear meaning than D.

E is the correct answer but there is a typo in E its missing as.

Yes, E is the correct answer. My problem was the same. where is 'as'?

So I thought may be there is some reason.
