Northern Air has dozens of flights daily into and out of Bellevilel Airport, which is highly congested. Northern Air depends for its success on economy and quck turnaround and consequently is planning to replace its large planes with skybuses, whose novel aerodynamic design is extremenly fuel efficient. The skybus's fuel efficiency results in both lower fuel coast and reduced time spent refueling.

Which of the following, if true, could present teh most serious disadvantage for Northern Air in replacing their large plabes with Skybuses?

A) The Skybus would enable Northern Air to schedule direct flights to destinations that currently require stoprs for refueling.
B) Aviation fuel is projected to decline in price over teh next several years
C) The fuel efficiency of teh Skybus would enable Northern Ait to eliminate refueling at some of its destinations, but several mechanics would lose their jobs
D) None of Northern Air's competitors that use Belleville Airport are considering buying Skebuses
E) The aerodynamic design of teh Skybus causes turbulence behind it when taking off that forces ither planes on the runway to dealy their takeoffs

A) This is advantage of Skybus idea.
B) I guess Skybus will be still in use. The author mentions about both lower fuel cost and reduced time spent refueling.
C) Irrelevant. We don't need to know about jobs. We need to concentrate on what author is mentioning.
D) Irrelevant
E) Author mentions two advantages: lower fuel cost and reduced time spent refueling. But, here the disadvantage is it will take more time.

Is it E?

It is E! If the turnaround time gets reduced by the turbulence caused by the skybus, then the purpose of purchasing them gets defeated.
You can, for example never foretell what any one man will do, but you can say with precision what an average number will be up to!

Hi All,

This CR question is based on a "plan"; you're likely to see a similar question on Test Day and you'll typically be asked to either strengthen or weaken the plan.

The prompt describes Northern Air's success (based on economy and quick turnaround) and the benefits of flying skybuses instead of large planes (lower fuel cost and reduced refueling time). You have to find an answer that explains that the skybuses either won't do what they're supposed to do or will cause some new problem.

The correct answer E describes a problem that skybuses create that affects Northern Air's plan.

A and B states the advantages, C and D will have no impact..its only E that shows disadvantage...

Every option but E seems to be irrelevant or in direct conflict with the question. Hence the choice.
