OG Questions too hard?

As im finishing all the OG questions, I find i'm doing worst as I do more questions.

In the beginning I would be able to get 8/10 Data Sufficiency questions. Now I'm getting maybe 3 out of 10 correct (from questions 100-110).

Just wondering what I would be a good way to study other than reviewing the answers? My mistakes are all over the board, there is nothing in particular. Just the difficulty seems to high even though i'm pretty confident when I do the questions. I did Kaplan DS chapter and still not getting better.

Hi yousufa,

The OG is *generally* arranged in order of increasing difficulty, so you'll certainly find harder "blocks" of questions as you go deeper into any of the question pools.

There is another issue though that's worth considering. It's possible that "your approach" to handling DS questions is limited and THAT'S why you're not doing particularly well on these later blocks of DS questions. You might consider learning some new tactics and putting some extra emphasis on your organization and note-taking. DS is a big chunk of your Quant section, so if you get too many of those questions wrong, then you'll have trouble scoring in the 700+ range.

You may need to work on your data sufficiency strategy!!!

How are you on the problem solving portion? It may be that you need to do some work on your basics before you attempt the more difficult problems.

You should figure out it if you are lacking in the math fundamentals or in the Data Sufficiency strategy.

If it is the Data Sufficiency strategy you may need to get another resource given that the Official Guide is not really a strategy guide. Veritas Prep has a book dedicated to Data Sufficiency strategy. You may want to consider that or a similar resource.

One thing that you should not do is plow through the Official Guide and keep missing questions!

Thanks guys, I'm guessing I'm weaker than I should be on Quant in general so I should work on that first.
