Your profile is frankly ideally suited for the programs you are targeting. Bypassing the internship, these programs will allow you to get in and out in a much more condensed timeline and take the courses most applicable to your family business. Speaking to the impact you have made and will make going forward post MBA and why you like what you do will be a good way to approach the essays. Certainly offering your unique perspective to your classmates as an international logistics manager will be attractive. You mentioned 2014, but I assume you mean that is when you will start school, but you are applying in the current cycle, yes? LEt us know if we can help you pull everything together. Presenting your story in a compelling way will be critical, as these programs receive thousands of applications from family business employees for the same reasons you are attracted to these programs. BTW, yes Emory is a good target school for you as well.
