1) Brief description of experience :
- 4 years experience in the manufacturing industry with a major Indian steel producer in positions ranging from core operations to project management to strategy formulation. I had lead a shift of 20 employees for a year and a half before moving to other positions. Currently I am in the MIS and operations analytics group managing operations and logistics in 8 manufacturing units across India

3) College info:
- College : Veer Surendra Sai Intstitute of Technology, Burla, Odisha, India
Year and Degree : 2009, Bachelors in Technology, Electrical Engineering
GPA : 8.04/10 I am not sure how to convert it into the 4.0 scale but I was in the top 20% of the class

4) Volunteer experience & causes
- Post college :
Founding member & secretary of a Rotary club at Rourkela, India - was involved in organising 2 blood donation camps for free donation to the nearby hospitals and blood bank.
- During College:
Initated a Social service group name Green UCE for educating children and providing vocational training to the unemployed youth in a nearby slum. UCE being the former name of my college.

5) Awards & Honours
- Champion of the Chairmans's trophy for Young managers -member of the champion team which presented a case-study with a implementable solution for a given business related issue for the organization.I was given opportunity to be a part of a delegation to Hong Kong, Tokyo and Kobe, Japan to study and understand the practices and conditions followed to promote innovation at Kobelco Industries, Japan.
- Was adjudged the best Management trainee (Technical) during the year long training at Rourkela Steel Plant during 2010-11.

Please, help me finding the right "school" & the right "program"

So, right school and right program? This in a certain sense is easy - the best school you can get into. With strategy consulting, you can go to any MBA program, but essentially the top Strategy Consulting firms all hire from Top programs (for more specific info about who hires from where have a look at the recruiter list of each school.

So, the good news - with your real leadership and your ridiculously high GMAT (and excellent GPA) you are definitely ahead of the pack... buuuuut please do keep in mind that the pack is very large for you!

Now, I think you CAN apply to all the schools on your list and have some chance, but it IS a tough list, and you have no safe school. So either you add one or two safe schools (this would be my recommendation, for which I have been thanked many times in the past ). or you can for a "top or bust" strategy as long as you are aware of it,
