Hi Experts,

I'm an Indian citizen working in the US with a valid H1B visa. I have my test scheduled on Friday August 9th, I was trying to see what documents I require for the appointment. I was under the impression that my Driver's license should be sufficient. But after a little research today I found that I need my passport. Unfortunately I dont have my passport with me, I have applied for Canadian visa to attend a conference through my company and my passport is in the Canadian Consulate. THe porcessing time for the visa is 19 days and Im not sure when I will get my passport back.

In this case can I get an exemption - I have copies of my passport and other original documents (including my H1B reciept).

If passport is mandatory what are my options, I cannot reschedule my test since my test date is less than 7 days away. I'm really confused, I was hoping I can give the test this week. I prepared for 3 months and really cant believe that I wont be able to give it all becasue of this issue.

Looking forward to your expert advice.

-Thanks,
Siva

This is a perfect question to ask in the Ask the Test Maker forum: https://www.beatthegmat.com/ask-the-test-maker-f71.html
