Hello!
I am looking to apply in the fall to NYU, Emory, UCLA, Texas (Austin), and Berkeley. My stats and some more background information can be found below. I am wondering if you think my low quant score will be a significant hinderance in my chances given my significant work experience in the marketing field. If I did retake the test and did worse, would this further hurt my chances?
GMAT: 660 (40v40q)
GPA: 3.34 (note that junior/senior years I had a 3.72)
Work experience:
- Started as an Asst Account Manager at leading advertising firm where I lead the brand advertising campaign launch of Xbox 360 Kinect across 26 global markets. I am now a Senior Account Manager leading the global brand advertising for Levi's (15 global markets) and the North American advertising for a Kraft brand.
Post MBA goals:
Transition to a brand marketing role on the client side
