Kaplan verbal scores

Hi,

I just started taking some practice tests as a part of the preparation. I am writing Kaplan online CATs, and verbal score(Diagnostic - 31, CAT2 - 33) is demoralizing.

Folks say that Kaplan tests are harder compared to actual test; is that true(for the latest Kaplan tests)?

I am trying to figure out whether I will see a jump when taking the actual test, or are the current Kaplan numbers reflective of actual test.

Thanks in advance!

Regards,
JN

I suggest that you take an official (free) practice test: https://www.mba.com/the-gmat/download-fr ... tware.aspx

These practice tests use official GMAT questions and the official GMAT scoring algorithm, so they are the best at gauging your skills.

Also keep in mind that you can take these tests multiple times. Yes, you will see some repeated questions, but not that many. If you're interested, I wrote an article for BTG on this topic: https://www.beatthegmat.com/mba/2010/03/ ... iple-times

Cheers,
Brent
