Update: I got admitted in University of Saskatchewan, and you(experts) can definitely include the program into one of the best MBA programs in Canada with very good employment opportunities after MBA. I will be graduating in August(2015). FYI I applied to the programs at University of Saskatchewan, Calgary, and Victoria.

Hi I took my GMAT today. I got 620. I was a bit disappointed, but now I can do better on essays and nothing else is in my hands as I am not interested in giving it another attempt. I am planning to do MBA in Canada. I have opted for Schulich,Ivey,Sauder,Haskayne,Simon Fraser. I am also looking forward to apply in some other universities( probly to schools which may accept my score) I have to work on my essays though. I have a 62%(Indian) in UG. So my profile:

10th-85%
12th-89%
UG(Btech)-62%

Work Experience- 2+ years
EC's- Good

I am sure that I can get good recommendation letters from my supervisors. I will work on my applications keenly. But, please suggest some good b-schools which would accept my score(620).

Since you have little experience anyhow, just retake. Don't apply with a 620.

Hi Konduri,

You are very young and should definitely try to get a higher GMAT score. 620 is a relatively low score and at your level of work experience I don't see Ivey, Rotman, Queens or Schulich giving much consideration to your application and others do not matter much anyway. You past academic performance shows potential & you should definitely give it another shot.

Hope it helps.

Do try for a better GMAT, Konduri. It's a lot of work to significantly improve your GMAT score but you can do it if you dedicate yourself to it. Get help and don't try again until you feel you're ready. And you can also work on giving yourself a better image - from this letter you're not very positive or attention-getting. You'll have to make the effort if you want to be accepted to the schools you've indicated.
