Mondy,

So far so good. Your GMAT and undergrad record are solid, you are working on meaningful extra curriculars and helping the family business, and you are working at a world class firm. Try your best to keep moving to the business side of GM to the extent possible. Even if that takes 1-2 more years, moving closer to the commercial side can help you learn more about pricing, strategy, new product launches...and make you more attractive to adcoms. Taking some business classes in your free time can also help.

Keep going!

You graduated from a strong undergraduate institution with a strong GMAT score so your scores are solid.

You also have excellent experience and community service. You might see if you can land a position in GM outside of India to grow your international experience (if possible).

I think NYU Stern is closer to a safety and you are competitive for the other schools (although nobody can say a sure shot). If you list your goals post-MBA we can better advice you on other schools you might wish to consider.

Good luck,
