Santa Clara Evening MBA

by bradley281 » Tue Aug 12, 2008 11:58 am
Anyone know much about the SC Evening program. I am relocating to the Bay Area and have HAAS as the #1 target, but SC seems like a pretty decent backup plan. Is it well regarded in San Francisco? Anything helps.

Maybe someone can weigh in with more specific info, but my experience from living and teaching GMAT in the Bay Area is that Santa Clara is very well regarded in Silicon Valley, especially if you're in a tech field. It's a highly ranked school and if you can't get Haas, it's usually regarded as the next-best evening program in the Bay Area.

I agree with Jim - Santa Clara's MBA program is gaining a strong reputation, particularly in the Bay Area. Since the school is based in the heart of Silicon Valley, SC attracts top candidates and has strong relationships with top Bay Area tech companies. My understanding is that the school's alumni network is quite strong and supportive of fellow alums.
