Hi Everyone,

I apologize for the screen name, my husband made this account for me.

I started out with the OG diagnostic. I got an excellent on RC, above average on CR and SC. I got below average on PS and didn't even bother with DS.

I started doing the math review (and taking notes) but I don't feel it's that detailed.

My question is should I do the MGMAT before doing the OG math problems?

Thanks,

Maria

Don't apologize for the screen name - it creates the perfect mindset for this test.

First learn the fundamentals and GMAT-specific strategies in the MGMAT books, and then practice those skills in the OG.

Cheers,
Brent

the OG is the place to test you techniques and hone your skills. One of the mistakes that so many people make is to start with the OG and then realize that they have no strategy, then they go learn strategies but the OG has already been done and they have lost the chance to really test their skills on that resource.

Please follow Brent's advice and do the OG after you learn the techniques.
