MGMAT Vs Private tutor?!

I am trying to improve my scores and I DEFINATELY think that I need outside help for it.

I am deciding between a MGMAT course and a private tutor that I found on craigslist (720 in GMAT and from a top ten school).

Need advice!

im currently in mgmat and i think its ok
there is defintely enough practice and they teach good strategies
i have nothing bad to say about them
if i had to do it all over again i would self study with a tutor because of the attention that you will receive
you wont feel like your slowing the class down if you ask a dumb question and it will be more personal

Ask the tutor for references. How long has s/he been tutoring, and what were the results? Plan to meet him/her in a coffee shop and discuss an approach to the GMAT. See if your personalities mesh. Give the tutor a sample problem you're struggling with and ask how s/he'd solve it. You'll get a feel for it that person can help you.

If the tutor isn't willing to do any of this, go in another direction!

The reason I am considering a class is because I am not very good at self-study and think that I need the discipline that I can only get in a prep-class.

I am still not sure about the tutor, but thanks for all the advice

Yeah, a class would be great for the discipline, probably better than a tutor.
