Hello

I have a question from your video class

The population of Smithtown [isloated] is 60% greater than that of Wilsonia [embedded]. Population of Wilsonia [isloated] is 40% smaller than Brownville [embedded]. If Brownville [isloated] has 8000 more people than does Smithtown [embedded]. What is the combined population of all 3?

I understand the concept of isolated and embedded quantity but I am not sure that why dint we try and find the 3rd relationship marked in red and instead used the first 2 relationships only to solve the problem.

In other words if I had a similar Q .. how would I know which relationship to ignore and which ones to consider.

thanks in advance!
