GMAT Score Question and School Question

HI There,

I am about to take the GMAT shortly, I have the following question:

1) How do business schools know if I took the GMAT Twice? Does it appear on the report they get?

2) I am still about 1.5 years from applying to MBA School, can I choose not to submit my score on test day and do it at a later date?

3) What school don't accept the higher schools? What school averages the score?

1. Yes, when schools get your score, it indicates how many times you took the GMAT as well as your previous score.
2. No. Its a take-it-or-leave-it offer. Either you send teh scores now or you pay to send them the next time
3. All schools accept the higher score. The decision to average the score is entirely the school's prerogative.

In answer to question #2:

GMAT Score Availability
Test takers may print their Unofficial scores from the Verbal and Quantitative multiple-choice sections, along with the Total score, immediately after completing the test.

Official GMAT score reports that include the AWA score available to the test taker and his or her designated score-report recipients (schools) approximately three weeks after the test.

"Old" GMAT Scores
Official GMAT score results are kept for 10 years. Candidates may request score reports up to 10 years old if they do not have more recent, valid scores. Most schools accept scores no older than five years. https://www.gmac.com/gmac/thegmat/gmatscores/
