Kaplan test - Question

by MTRH » Mon Aug 04, 2008 10:31 am
hey guys, I'm just wondering about the Kaplan Diagnostic test I've read so much about... is everyone referring to the test that comes in the book? Because on one post I read that one doesn’t give you an actual score (640 760 king of score) because its not a full test, but some people do report a score.. so I’m a bit confused…

Another question you may be able to help me out with, I started studying for the GMAT last week and took the free Kaplan test you get when you “sign in” to their website. It gave me different scores, some where scale and the other I’m assuming weren’t. Do they scale them by difficulty and that’s why even though there are 37 questions for quant I got a 41? Or its scaled by a bunch of different things (I don’t think it’s a CAT test thought because in the answers they refer to other answers they’ve already explained).

Thanks for the help
