Hello. I am business major and non-native speaker graduated April, 2013 in the United States.
Once the chair of the business college knew that I want to persue MBA school, he offered the program at Michigan State University which I can get graduate and Ph.D degree without paying anything.(I am very poor more than you can imagine) He wanted me to study GMAT for a week. He paid for the test and took me to the test center. But I felt miserable after facing the result, 460(verbal 11%).
I do not want to give up what I started. So now I have come back to my country bacause living expenses in the U.S is much higher than my country and will study from this week to apply the program in 2014.
When coming back from the U.S, I brought GMAT official guide, official math and verbal practice books. I think my math skill is decent but English is the barrier. Most reason I get wrong math problems is my poor English blocking me understanding what is being asked. As I posted above, verbal score is just aweful.
I should work part time to keep a roof above my head. To get admission from MSU, 650 or above GMAT score is required till this October which means I have only five months. I am willing to reduce my sleep and will do hard work on it.
I am very open to any advise and strategy to beat GMAT fitting to my circumstances. Help me !
