The second score is a bit better. And consider taking the test again.

That is a rude thing to say and I did not ask if I should take it again. You should be more sensitive to other people's GMAT experience.

Report the 2nd. Your quantitative score is higher.

Hi caitlinbadeaux,

As your quant score is higher in the second attempt, I would suggest you to report the second score. Also I would say if you are targeting top 20 B-Schools then 580 is a bit low GMAT Score, you should retake the GMAT in that case.

The second score presents you more favorably as the quant and the IR are stronger.

When I served as the Director of MBA Admissions, we would review what the applicant submitted, and look at the official GMAT score report. Therefore, we saw all of the attempted scores in our evaluations. I don't think that this would cause any problems for you because the scores are relatively similar.
