GMAT? check. WE? check. GPA? check.
All is is very good shape. Besides that you have the distinct advantage of being female. And your work experience, from what you have written here, seems to be above average for your position.

You also have a quite a nice mix of extras in your profile, the self-governance stuff, miss fresher and other things.

I think you have a very nice profile, and that you have chosen your schools well. If you can though, I would add two more schools to the list (at more or less the same level), because is the single thing that will bring you most results I think in terms of admission and perhaps (let's hope) of scholarship offers.

Hope this helps you out!!

Hi Jon,

Thank you for your reply. I missed the Round 2 deadline for Tepper. However, I got a interview call from Rice and SMEAL.

I have a suspicion that applying well before Round 3(for Tepper) deadline should guarantee me at-least a chance at admission. However, I am not sure whether this is true for Scholarship.
Actually my funds for application are running low, so I need to choose my next two schools very carefully. This leads to my two part question.

The first part: Do I have a shot in Round 3 in Tepper and Cornell (A very good fit for me)?

The second part: Is there any possibility of a scholarship in B-School in Round 3?

Thanks,
Sy

Well, look at it this way, if you ALREADY have interviews at two schools, that is a very good sign, and it hopefully will mean that you will attend school next year. What that also means is that this is your LAST CHANCE to apply for ANY school you would go to. So by all means go and apply.. you have little to lose and much to gain. My suggestion would be to apply to AS MANY as you would like to go to.. I mean your money may be running low, but at this point, it can't be the 200 dollar application fee that would break the bank... so just roll with it, and give it your best possible shot.

It's true, I am almost out of my allocated money for application. However, I too feel that it is now or never. Thanks for your advice Jon. I am going ahead and applying to Cornell.

Wish me luck.

Hi Jon,

I applied to Cornell and they rejected me without interview. But wait there is some good news as well.

I had applied to two other universities. They were Carlson and Kenan-Flagler and I was accepted by both of them (Carlson with scholarship). I was wondering if you could help me figure out which university to select.

Thanks,
Sy

Well, you see..
"All's well that ends well"

I would say that KF has a bit of a better name. I would take the money into considerations, but I would also think about WHERE you want to work and what you want to do. Schools off the coasts tend to be quite regional, and you will likely end up finding a job int he region that your school is located.
