Whats the ideal way to prepare

by rishjain » Thu Apr 25, 2013 3:49 am
Hi,
My GMAT date is 17th June 2013, so i have roughly around 60 days to prepare for GMAT. I have just brought Manhattan GMAT 10 set module, OG 13, OG Verbal & Maths Review. I have started with some modules of MGMAT. Can anyone help how should i go forward with the preparation. I am aiming for a score of 740+. Should I follow the 60 day study guide. Is it worth purchasing a online GMAT prep programs like Magoosh, Gmatprepnow over and above what books I already have? Help badly needed.

Thanks

Before you purchase additional resources, I suggest that you take an official practice test: https://www.mba.com/the-gmat/download-fr ... tware.aspx
It may be the case that you're already scoring above (or at least close to) your target score, in which case you may not need any additional materials.

As far as a study plan goes, you might consider signing up for BTG's free 60-Day Study Guide (https://www.beatthegmat.com/mba/gmat-guide).
Each day you will receive an email with a series of learning activities that guide you, step-by-step, from Day 1 to test day. This will ensure that you will cover everything that the GMAT tests.

Here's an outline of all 60 emails: https://www.beatthegmat.com/mba/gmat-guide-outline

Cheers,
Brent
