Profile Evaluation please! GPA 2.7,Business family,WE 4years

hello everybody,

I'm 24, from Dhaka,Bangladhesh. I am planing on doing my full time MBA from USA from an AACSB accredited school.

My CPA is 2.7 in a scale of 4.0. I did bachelors in Business Administration with marketing major.

I'm planing on taking my GMAT on the first or second week of MAY. I'm hoping a score of 550-600.

I have been working for past 4 years in our family business. I work as a director in a group of companies and my duties involve finding promising products with unfilled high market demands. I also did the marketing plan for one of our smaller companies recently.

I plan to start my MBA as early as i can cause my primary goal is to come back to country and start my own company here. I'm mostly looking at doing my MBA from usa.

My target is to catch the fall 2013 semester or at least the spring 2014 semester.

The universities that i picked so far are,

*Fairleigh Dickinson University
*Emporia State University
*Western New England University
*University of St Thomas
*Providence College
*University of Massachusetts Boston
*Oregon State University
*Bloomsberg University of Pennsylvania
*DePaul University
*American University Kogod
*Baylor University Hankamer
*University of North Carolina charlotte

all of them have AACSB accreditation and all of them have a still have dead lines that i make for fall or spring.

My question is what are my chances to get admission in them judging from my profile?also if you can please mention some more full time MBA programs of my league.

Chances in b-school will depend on how well you position yourself in application essays and demonstrate headship qualities, team work skills, ability to work with others and other aptitudes during final interviews. I tried your link but i could not find my universities name in that list. so i didnt know which one to select from the list. My university was North South University from Dhaka,Bangladesh. It is the oldest and most reputable private university of our country. here is their website

I plan to write my essay with some help from one of my faculty so i think that will be ok,if not great. But do you think i have a chance in getting into these schools or some more in the top 100 in the usa with my 2.7 gpa and 550-600 gmat and 4 years of good work exp?? Please also note this i,with the help of another director set up a completely company in this time. From Project finding,feasibility report to machine selections,loan approval to set up,production to marketing plan then revised marketing plan, I did all of that with another colleuge of mine. I plan on highligting all of these in the essay.

So after these are my chances good or should i target few steps lower universities??

You can mention any top Indian College/University (eg. IIT, BITS etc.) in that column.
As I said earlier, the chances will depend on how well you position yourself in application essays and interviews which I feel can be done by proficient consultants from top b-schools.
