Full time Vs executive MBA

by Xbond » Wed Jul 30, 2008 9:41 am
Hi Lisa,

I am Investment Consultant in big Swiss bank (I worked during 18 months in Switzerland) with 7y professional experience in financial markets (Private banking division). Apparently, I have very good profile for a MBA according to Wharthon and Columbia recruiting and enrollement officer.

I think a MBA is a full time. Now, some friends told me I have to think about executive MBA. I am 32y old and have african origin. I born in France (french citizen)

What do you think as Consultant ? Have to revise my first goal to do a full time ?

kind Regards,

Xbond

An executive MBA is an excellent option if you plan to stay on the same career track and also if your company is willing to pay for your MBA. However, if you are seeking a career transition or would like to fully immerse yourself in an academic setting, then the traditional MBA might be a better fit.
