Advantage to applying to same university as undergrad?

I apologize if this is a question that has come up already, but would I be advantaged (or disadvantaged) in the admissions process if I'm applying to the same university that I was in for undergrad? For example, I went to Cornell and subsequently apply to the Johnson school (after 2 to 3 years of work experience).

Is this something that would be weighed at all in the process?

We did have this question a few weeks back. The simple answer: It depends. Some schools receive a large number of applicants with undergraduate degrees from the same institution and others receive hardly any. So, you should try to determine which is the case for the Johnson School. Generally speaking, if the school receives a large number of Cornell alumni applications, then it might be harder to gain admission to the MBA program. If the school does not tend to get many alumni applicants, then it could work in your favor. Hope that helps.
