Hi
I prepared for the GMAT using Kaplan and MGMAT from June 2012 until March 2013. However, it wasn't continuous, I often tend to take some time off couple of weeks every two or three months.
In December I scored 520 although my Kaplan CATS have been around the 580-620 range.
Then I changed my studying strategy, I focused on the official material heavily. I did every single question on the official guide and the last have of the verbal review. My efforts made me more confident based on the GMATprep score that were 620, 610, and 650. (I bought MBA questions pack to increase the questions pool)
On March, I took the test and I surprisingly again scored 530 (44 Q, 20 V). I run out of time on the verbal section and I guessed most of the last ten questions.
I know that guessing could be the problem. But I also know that there is an area of improvement on the verbal section.
Although it is a big disappointment. I'M NOT GOING TO GIVE UP.
I would like to kindly ask you what i should do next. How can i improve my verbal score. I've done a lot of preparation, yet it is not the score is not reflecting my efforts. English is not my native language and i do face difficulties with the vocabulary but a score of 20 is seriously more than just vocabulary.
I would appreciate it if you can guide me to a proper tool or strategy that would help me out.
Thanks
