0-760 in 15 days!! (Q 50/ V 42)

I took my GMAT two days back. Getting 760 was a really good feeling as i had only 15 days to prepare for GMAT.

I am including my prep schedule, which i think might be useful to some aspirants, especially the ones who do not have a lot of time on hand. Since, i am engineer, i did not have a lot of trouble with the Quant portion.

My prep schedule:

- 7 to 8 hours of study daily
- First six-seven days : OG 10 (verbal) + Kaplan Premier program (critical reasoning: i found it really good), OG 11 (verbal), Manhattan SC
- I used to do Quant practice on a daily basis -- especially probability and Data Sufficiency. This helped me to be in regular touch with both the parts of the GMAT.
- All these days, as and when i was finishing the course material, I was also giving small tests (sets of 20-25 question )
- Next four days: Practice from other tests and material, such as Score Top, and 1000 Series (especially critical reasoning).
- Last five days: Mock GMATs, online tests, mainly Manhattan tests.

My test scores were:

Kaplan - 670 (Gave 8 days after i started my preparation)
Manhattan 1 - 710
Manhattan 2 - 730
Manhattan 3 - 750
Manhattan 4 - 730
Manhattan 5 - 750
Manhattan 6 - 750

dude...tht's great score...at such a short time....congrats...!
can you give a detail debrief covering ur study plan on each section and the d-day experience...i need to replicate it :twisted:

I totally second that disclaimer. While there are geniuses out there in the general population--anyone who can score a 760 on the GMAT with 15 days of prep is naturally gifted IMO--I think less than 1% of the population can achieve a score of 760 on the GMAT with only 15 days of prepping.

Job well done OP. I envy such natural talent.
