Hi
Kindly look at my profile below and suggest me
Background:
28 years old Indian female
Have to give my GMAT/GRE . The old GRE scores are expired
M.S in Information systems from texas A&M international University (GPA :3.75)
Bachelor's in Information Technology(70% ) . from a college that is affliated to Anna University.
Work Experience:
More than 5 years working as Websphere Administrator in Finance and hospitality industry.
Extra curricular activites : Nothing solid here. Organized symposiums for information technology divison in under grad. Trained new hires in my work. Do some volunteering occasionally.
Gained a lot of experience in buring down last minute fires, dealing with people in panic mode, avoiding sky is falling scenarios.. make split second decisions I am not sure if that would be any use while applying for MBA
I want to stay in IT industry and use my MBA combined with technical expertise to advance in my career.
I want to apply for Darden/Duke/UNC/Wharton (1st preference for personal reasons). I am thinking of applying for Fall 2013 .
Can you please suggest me on what schools to apply? am I aiming too high ( regarding schools choice) ? What can I do to improve my profile/
Also on another note I am planning to take GRE instead of GMAt as GRE scores are accepted in various other M.S programs too. Would this prove detrimental in anyway? And what would be a good score for my target schools
Thanks
