hedge fund career

by xxxle » Tue Feb 26, 2013 10:04 am
Hello,
I was wondering how getting into HF: investment-banking (for example in treasury management) to HF management or internal career in the industry, from the "bottom"?
And which MBA would be fit for this kind of career?
Thanks in advance

Well, you either get a job before B-school or you try to get one after :).
which B-schools are good for this? All actually, although of course the ones that make most sense are the ones located in or near finance areas (NY, London mainly), or which have strong Finance programs. So schools like NYU, Columbia, Wharton, Tepper, johnson, Oxford, LBS, MIT, HBS, Chicago are all good places to start
