Preparation Question

by Qwanob » Sat Jul 12, 2008 8:53 am
Hi,

I am preparing for the GMAT for 2 month now. I have completed all the questions in the OG including the additional books (Purple and Green). In the Q-Part I solve more than 80% correct in the V-Part approx. 70%.

I use the Manhattan Books (the complete set - 8 books) and the OG. That's it.

For the remaining 3 weeks I am planing to do at least 1 MGMAT test and the 2 GMATprep tests. So one per weeek.

I would like hear your recommendations...do you think that this preparation will be enough to score in the 650's?

Cheers,
Q.

Have you been regularly taking practice tests? If so, how have you been performing?

If you haven't been doing practice tests, I highly encourage you to start doing them regularly with your remaining time. Doing so will do a lot to get you ready for your actual GMAT day!

Many thanks Eric!

Well, so far, I have been preparing with the questions and a timer only. For the remaining 14 days I have planned to do 4 Tests. Starting this Wednesday with the 1st one. Then analyzing my mistakes and doing the next one after 3-4 days. I hope this will help. I hope that the tests won't burn me out prior to the real test...?!

Do you think I should concentrate on the GMATPrep, which would mean to take every test twice or rather do 2 GMATPrep and 2 Manhatten tests?
