When to give GMAT ?

by Lifetron » Tue Jan 08, 2013 4:04 am
I finished my UG on may 2012. I started working by sep 2012. Now, I am planning to give my GMAT by aug/sep 2013. So, that I can re-take if I don't get a good score. I thought I would start applying to colleges by the start of 2014. Is this advisable ? Do you suggest any alternative ?

First of all it's great that you are starting so early and that you already know what you want!
And very wise of you to take the GMAT already to get it out of the way (and give yourself the chance to retake if necessary)

With 2 years of experience only, you aren't gonna have an easy time of it, esp. as an Indian applicant... I would suggest waiting at least a third year, and see how things go then.
