Seek advice on CEIBS admit offer-Please respond

I am an Indian MBA aspirant targeting A-PAC top B-schools(ISB,CEIBS,NUS,NTU) this admission season.I have received an admit offer from CEIBS with attractive scholarship and is yet to hear from other B-schools.Though CEIBS does caters to all my short-term needs, i am skeptical about its reputation outside mainland china.I request the oracles of BTG to help me take an informed decision.
My profile in brief :

Qual : Mechanical Engineer
Work-ex : 4.5 years in Automobile industry at managerial level.
GMAT : 730

You're asking a good question dude. But it IS a bit like comparing oranges and apples. CEIBS is for sure the best school and most prestigious in China. However the question is does it fit your goals? You seem to be saying yes (I'm assuming you want to or don't mind working in China). Now, in the long-term is it as good as ISB if you are planning on ending up in India???? Likely not, but is it still good? likely yes....

There are really soooo many factors here that come into play - location, job, family, goals, how the school places in your industry, what salaries look like in the various countries etc. that it is hard to say which is preferable...

Sooo, I know I haven't given you a clear-cut answer, but maybe these thoughts I've shared will be helpful to you...

Well, i prefer an international career and would like to settle down outside India.What i meant to ask was how does CEIBS as a brand hold in markets like Singapore and Hongkong which is outside mainland China as i do not intend to settle in mainland China in the long run.

Consider these:

"¢ Ranking: As per the Financial Times ranking for 2012, CEIBS stands at 24, higher than NTU (34) but lower than ISB (20) and NUS (23). However, these 2 ranks are close enough to not be of much significance.

"¢ International Exposure: If your aim is to gain insight into the Chinese business environment (China is supposed to be the next business leader of the world), CEIBS might be a good place to go to.

"¢ Employment success: The three-year average placement success (within three months of graduation) for CEIBS is 94% as compared to 100% of ISB. The other two are at 90%. Therefore, if employability is your primary objective, ISB is a better bet.

Your experience and GMAT score may get you admissions into other better colleges as well. However, whether you will be able to get scholarship too, can only be decided by the respective schools.

Therefore, cost is a risk as well as admissibility. Factor these into your pros and cons consideration, and make an informed decision.
