Gave the GMAT yesterday afternoon, July 1, and scored poorly again. I was aiming for something above 600. Last saturday i did two Prep’s and scored 610 and 620 but with inconsistently verbal scores, my weak link. And that happened on real GMAT, i got my lowest verbal raw score ever.
Two weeks before the test i was getting 30’s on my verbal, from 31 to 34. Reading comprehension being my worst topic.
This was my second attempt, on April i scored 540 after a couple of weeks of study. I guess two more month only add 10 miserable points to my final score.
To me it’s done. Finished. GMAT took too much of my personal life.
I don’t want to apply to any top business school in the world but rather to an executive MBA in a local business school and i believe my score is enough. I’ve other issues that turn my application strong: 12 years of experience, 7 of them in management, international background and a major in engineering by one prestigious European university.
Thanks to everybody here. Thanks Eric for this great forum. It was really helpful to hear from all of you. Thanks to our experts but also to those who shared their thought even knowing that they might no be totally correct.
