Sentence Correction--Tenses Strategy

I was wondering if anyone had a strategy for learning tenses quickly and easily. I feel that it can be very difficult to memorize. Any suggestions?

Try to make 1 or 2 sentences in the tense that you want to learn and memorize particular sentences. They will be easier to remember, if they talk about your life or are funny. Generally, they should include some detail that will easily stay in your memory.
