I haven't heard of any of the major test prep companies' tests not working on a Mac, so you should still have plenty of options. The PR tests are actually online so it doesn't matter what OS you're using; you just need the DVD to get a link to them, but as far as I can tell the DVD ought to work on a Mac.
oh yeah, for sure, all the major test-prep companies' software and practice tests are compatible with both mac and pc platforms. our manhattangmat practice tests are entirely web-based, so you could even run them on linux or unix if you want.
my best hypothesis has to do with the fact that the gmatprep software is free, eliminating the pecuniary incentive for gmac to develop a mac version. of particular note is the fact that other gmac software, such as the new gmat focus math software, is web-based and therefore compatible with mac and pc operating systems.
