Day-1 email

by mrunalcavale » Fri Dec 07, 2012 10:12 am
Hi Brent,

I have just downloaded the GMAT-Prep-Now-Improvement-Chart-for-OG13 and gmat-progress-chart for my study plan of 60 days. What happens next?? Should I register anywhere else or should I wait for the email or something??
I am not sure of how this this study guide will help me.
"Can you please give me a gist of the plan that I need to make with the help of these documents?" or "How does this 60_day GMAT Study guide work?"

Your help is deeply appreciated.

All you need to do is register here: https://www.beatthegmat.com/mba/gmat-guide

Once you've registered, you'll receive a daily e-mail on how to study for your GMAT over 60 days. Each day for two months, Beat The GMAT will send you an e-mail with specific activities and to-dos to help you prepare for your GMAT test.

For an outline of the 60 emails, see https://www.beatthegmat.com/mba/gmat-guide-outline

So, if you've already registered (and purchased either the GMAT Prep Now videos or MGMAT booklets) then you're ready to go. You'll receive your Day 1 email tomorrow.

Cheers,
Brent

Thank you Brent!

Although you have mentioned few study materials to start with, I don't have any of those. I have Kaplan GMAT Review with me and I have their online course material as well.
Is that suffice or do you advice some more material? Another question was, I feel I need to stress more on Quant. Any recommendations for Quant material will really help. I thought my forte was Verbal, however I scored very poor in my diagnostics. Now I feel I have to equally concentrate on both these topics.

Pls advice.

Thank you!

To use the Study Guide, you will need either the GMAT Prep Now videos or the MGMAT books, as each day's learning activities reference both resources.

So, for example, on Day 8, the learning activities include watching all of the videos in GMAT Prep Now's Powers and Roots module or reading the Exponents and Roots chapters in the MGMAT Strategy Guide.
Then, for reinforcement, you're assigned Powers and Roots practice questions from the Official Guide (OG13)

Cheers,
Brent
