Where Should I Apply?

by cinder4277 » Mon Sep 17, 2012 8:46 am
Hello Everyone,

I'm looking to apply to B-school this fall and I'd love to hear some suggestions on where I'd have a good chance of getting accepted.

Here is my profile:

GMAT: 650 (45Q, 35V)

Undergrad: 3.7 GPA at a well known state University with a triple major in Finance, Entrepreneurship, and Real Estate. w/ a number of extra curriculars and leadership roles.

By the time Fall 2013 rolls around, I will be 27 years old and have 6 years of professional experience working in Finance and Pricing at a couple of big companies. w/ 2 Promotions and a many leadership roles.

Side Notes:
- First in my family to attend college
- I have aspirations of becoming an entrepreneur
- Volunteer about once a month at local non-profits
- Mixed race male (Hispanic/Caucasian/Native American)

I plan to put a lot of effort into my applications and I am considering working with a consultant.

Thanks for the help!

Thanks for the response Jim! I'm really looking for a school where I can build a strong professional network and that can prepare me to launch a start-up business.

Babson College has an excellent program that is top-ranked nationally in entrepreneurship. They have core courses that involve entrepreneurship as well as specific electives focusing on the practice.
