GMATprep PS question

Gear P makes 10 revolutions per minute = 1/6 revolution per second
Gear Q makes 40 revolutions per minute = 2/3 revolution per second

Diff. in revolution of p&Q per second = 2/3 - 1/6 = 1/2 revolutions per second.

Hence a total difference of 6 revolutions between P& Q will result in the time difference of = 6 / (1/2) = 12 seconds
