Well, we are missing a wee bit of info here to give you the full deal, especially about what you did and how you performed in your work experience. But the IIT graduation and being female are two things that will definitely help you stick out from other Indian applicants. Now, you need to do the same thing with your work experience.

this Epilepsy management program sounds like it could be something huge, so I'd love to hear more about that (and I definitely think it is something you should emphasize in your application)

As for the school list you gave, I think you are aiming in more or less the right range, and if you choose 4-5+ of these schools you should have good chances with good essays.
