No improvement in verbal scores!!!

by sonalianandwala » Sun Nov 18, 2012 2:07 pm
To start off my GMAT is in 5 days!

Despite going over the MGMAT set for verbal & solving OG questions with about 85% accuracy & each question within 2 min there is no significant improvement in my verbal score for the last 3 mocks!

What strategy should I follow?

Hi Sonali,

Keep aside the quant books and immerse yourself in verbal for few days (postpone your test if possible). Im am sure one of the three sections will be your weakest area. If RC is your weakest area , then keep doing RC from random topics and just do 20 Qs from your 2nd weakest area. Do this for next 4-5 days (assuming you postpone your test).

If you decide to take the test in 5 days, then just work on your strongest area. It is better to secure your strongest area than to be average in all the areas.

regards,
