One more for D. The 3/2 split here is that B, C, and D end with "in" while A and E don't. Since we're talking about the influence being seen in the novels, we can knock out A and E.

B loses the word "more", which is needed for the comparison to work.

C uses "it" awkwardly to avoid using inverted structure.

D it is.
