If K is an integer,what is the value of K?

1) (K-1)(K-3)<0

2) (K-5)(K-1)(K-3)(K-6)<0

In both cases, the only valid value of integer K is 2.

(1) Can be easily rewritten as 1<k<3
as one of the products has to be negative
Hence k = 2

(2) One of the products has to be negative or 3 of them have to be negative
The latter is not possible since 5,6 are consecutive integers and k has an integer value
Once again 1<k<3
Hence k = 2
